I played for a long time and then quit playing for quite a while as well. Started playing again maybe six months ago.

Just recently had to start using a new usb card, because my old one died or something.

The "Always Bar" play style is rather inaccurate. All of my Singles scores were barred. Some of my Doubles scores were barred, but not all of them. I started out no-barring when I learned to play DDR a couple of years ago. After that I started barring quite a bit, and I'm trying to get used to no-barring again. I'm getting a little better at it. I can get through songs like I Can Walk On Water I Can Fly and Crazy Loop no-bar with scores near 80%, but I'm still working on it.
